Move your Dropbox files to Google Drive
If you’re like me and have a gazillion files in your dropbox then you may have upgraded from the free 2GB account to the 1TB account for $9.99 per month. Now I’m actually only using 25GB so I don’t really want to be paying a monthly subscription – especially when Google Drive gives you 15GB for free – so I started looking to see if there was an easy way to migrate from dropbox to drive without having to download and then upload 25GB.
I found a free extension for Google Chrome called cloudHQ.net which couldn’t have been easier to setup and start the process with. You get 5GB of data transfer for free and then a further 4GB if you share the extension on Linkedin and Twitter. But, if you write a blog post about cloudHQ with a link then you get unlimited data transfer for 1 year – so here it is!
