The Project Brief

The Pimlico Road Design District, London’s premier destination for interior design, art, antiques and fine furniture, is a unique village formed by various streets converging on the Pimlico Road. It has long been established as an area of individual retailers and businesses catering for the discerning shopper, interior designer, collector and all-round ‘bon viveur’.

Our brief was simple – this site had to be uber stylish and sophisticated. We met with the association for our briefing in the David Linley store on the Pimlico Road and this was all the inspiration we needed. Surrounded by the finest British design and craftsmanship, our own designers were immediately aware of the gravitas this project holds – no pressure!

That’s the design sorted – what about the functionality? Each of the association’s 62 traders has their own listing on the site and with this comes the ability to upload their own images and content so a unique login for each trader was created, allowing them to edit their listing from any device with an internet connection.

Responsive Web Design

Probably the most minimal yet complex design process we’ve been involved with.

Bespoke WordPress Theme

Totally unique and tailored to the association’s specific design requirements.

Trader Content Management

Logins, permissions and training – the trader login system took some doing but is easy to use and robust.
